Established in 2008 the Waikanae Dance School is a community focused organisation with a vision to provide  performance opportunities for young people in the Kapiti region. Our aim is to provide a fun and friendly dance environment that nurtures the individual talents of each of our students. We seek to develop confident young people with outstanding performing art skills. Our students attend  classes weekly developing technique in a range of styles to produce all round dancers.

Our classes are taught by the Principal of the school to ensure correct technique and class discipline is taught to all students whatever their age.

Whether you wish to train to become a professional dancer, a dance teacher or just have fun with your friends we will ensure that all students dance to their full potential.

We offer students the opportunity to take part in school shows, perform at community events, compete at local and national festivals and work towards internationally recognised dance qualifications.

Our Principal Mrs Michelle Lewis is available outside of class times to answer any questions you may have about the school, our availability to perform at your local event or your dance needs.
