Stars in the Spotlight

Five year old Jessica has been dancing at Waikanae Dance School since she was 3.  In October she took her first Modern Jazz medal. 

To get some practice for her medal award she decided to enter the Coastlands Star Search competition along with her friend Keesha.  Both of the girls mums had them rehearse at home in the lead up to the heats. On the day not only did Jessica and Keesha have great fun performing to the audience but they were awarded second place in their heats gaining them a place in the final. Well done Jessica and Keesha.

Jessica says that her favourite dancing is acrobatics.
